GeoPath Classes Description

Come learn how use the GeoPath to make parts faster and more efficiently— that’s why you bought GeoPath.  Take full advantage of our training classes for you, your staff or co-workers.   A certification program for Geopath is available for those who complete the training program and meet the standards set by SolutionWare.

Drawing Class: This is a class that will help you draw your parts by reading blueprints and duplicating them into the graphics screen.

Basics Class: You will learn how to cut parts using your drawing or a CAD file. We will also teach you on the use of hot keys. Some subtle ideas and hints to move efficiently through GeoPath will also be introduced.

Layers Class: Formatted to teach you to use the layers to make your parts. It is based with practical examples on how to do indexing and changing your workoffsets.

Chains Class: You will learn how to modify your cuts as you go, without having to delete cuts and start over. You will know how to get the changes done simply and efficiently

Lathe Class: You learn how to draw and modify some basic lathe geometry, including how to cut your turning parts. This will guide you through lathe programming and should address most of your lathe questions.

Post-Processor Class: This is an introduction to our post-processors. It will guide you through making changes to a post-processor or modifying an existing one to meet your machining needs. GeoPath certification required.

3-D Class: The 3-D class will walk you through the basics of machining with surfaces.  GeoPath certification required.

If you are interested in attending any of our training classes, please call 408.249.1529. Our technical services admin will schedule you and any other employees for class. These classes are by appointment only and are free for clients in warranty or under service contract.
